With over 25 years of experience in the butchery trade, we’ve had a lot of time to learn where to find the finest meats. We are blessed to be based in the heart of the South West, a region well-known for farms with traditional family values, and have built strong relationships with the best suppliers in the area.

This, coupled with our skilled team of expert butchers, has enabled us to gain a sterling reputation within Bristol. Many of our customers have been coming through our doors for decades, with generations getting their meat from Murrays, and we’re extremely proud to be able to serve Gloucester Road.

Pork

Pork has been a staple across the world for thousands of years. This versatile meat can be found in a huge variety of different forms, from succulent chops and joints, to dry rashers and crackling which will pack a potent punch. Here at Murrays, we have it all.

All of our pork is sourced from local farms which raise woodland pigs. We offer whole pork legs, pork leg fillets, pork shoulder, pork loin, and pork tenderloin, and are happy to arrange a whole or half pig if you have a lot of mouths to feed.

Bacon

Bacon is a food like no other. Steeped in tradition by generations of Brits, a lot of people find themselves disappointed with the modern options they find on the market, and want something which takes them back to the old days.

Our Bacon comes from Sandridge Farm, based in the heart of Wiltshire, using time-tested methods to treat the meat. Dry-cured, smoked, or green back options are available, and they’re all sure to leave even the biggest of bacon lovers begging for more.

Game

Not all meat has to come from a farm. In fact, in a lot of cases, the most interesting options are those which have been caught in the wild, and this is where game meat comes in. All of the game you’ll find at Murrays was wild, rather than farmed.
