T & PA Murray offers the very finest in free-range, sustainable meats and delicatessen produce, brought to you by the highly trained, dedicated staff of a family business established in 1994 (follow the About Us link for a fascinating insight into the long history of the business and the premises).

Our opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am-5pm (4pm Wednesday); on Saturdays we have an all-day BBQ at the front of the shop.

Meats Come From?
Our pork is selected through local farms and only from free-range animals (Woodland Pigs).
We will be introducing a full range of game from Beslwick Farms which will include wild ducks, pheasant, wild boar and rabbits.
Our bacon is selected from Sandridge Farm based deep in the heart of Wiltshire. Traditional dry cured, smoked or green back, with the old-fashioned taste.
Our lambs are sourced and selected from established farms for taste and flavour.
Murray’s have become a known leader in their home-made range of sausages with a good selection of flavours, all produced in the old-fashioned way with natural casings and time-tested recipes.
We always have free-range chicken available along with free range eggs. We also carry free-range ducks and turkeys.
Tom has worked in the meat industry for more than 40 years, when, at the age of 15, he started out in abattoirs and slaughter houses, moving on to small independent shops then major retailers. The trade then took Tom into the international arena, where he has worked on everything from small independents to major cutting and processing units across Europe, Australia, the Middle East, the Far East and North/South America. He still holds consultancy positions internationally but now focuses most of his time on his Gloucester Road business.
