Tom has worked in the meat industry for more than 40 years, when, at the age of 15, he started out in abattoirs and slaughter houses, moving on to small independent shops then major retailers. The trade then took Tom into the international arena, where he has worked on everything from small independents to major cutting and processing units across Europe, Australia, the Middle East, the Far East and North/South America. He still holds consultancy positions internationally but now focuses most of his time on his Gloucester Road business.
